Heroes2 Celebrates Earth Day 2011

Raising awareness with planting activity

Heroes2 celebrated Earth Day 2011 with a planting activity at their reforestation site in Guangdong Province.

Mr. Raymond Yap, CEO and Founder of Heroes2 Foundation Limited, together with Heroes2 Stars JuJu Chan, Johnny Ko, Cathy Lo, and Judy Yiu, headed for Lashi Village of Zijin County on the 18th of April for the event. This was an opportunity for all to do some hands-on work for the planet, and marks the initial planting of the 7,000 trees that the NGO has planned for its ongoing reforestation programme this year.

The planting activity was scheduled in the same week of Earth Day 2011 in support of raising environmental awareness worldwide, and the total of 7,000 trees which will be planted in the next few months will also contribute towards The Billion Tree Campaign initiated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
