Heroes2 At AIESEC’s Ripples International Conference 2011

Starting the New Year by Inspiring Future Leaders From Around the World

Heroes2 kicked off this year’s activities with AIESEC’s Ripples International Conference 2011 which took place at the Hong Kong University this Saturday.

The objective of the conference was for the attendees to gain a thorough understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as sustainable development, and it was a great pleasure to be in the presence of such motivated young leaders from the Asia Pacific Region.

After the morning session during which the students viewed Heroes2’s corporate video, they were invited to visit our booth where Heroes2 CEO and founder, Mr. Raymond Yap, along with Cathy and Johnny of Heroes2 Stars, photographer Moni, as well as previous contestant Hayley, talked to them in more detail about the NGO’s aspirations and upcoming projects.

Many of the members also signed up to become beta-testers for the Heroes2 Community Website, which will become globally available to the public in the near future. In addition, some supported our Plant-a-Tree Bookmarks, contributing to our next planting season in March/April.
